Peter Hall
Legal Practitioner Director
Peter is a lawyer who believes in the power of building strong relationships with clients.
“In addition to providing exceptional legal expertise, fostering trust, communication, and empathy are crucial for creating meaningful connections with clients,” he says.
“That’s the overriding philosophy of Lime Lawyers. It’s who we are and what we stand for. We’re accessible, approachable and welcoming. And, we’re only ever as good as the strength of our relationships.”
Peter launched Lime with partner Michael Broughton in 2015. He and Michael met at the large Brisbane law firm, Trilby Misso, where Peter was Personal Injury Practice Group Leader, managing a portfolio of injury claims as well as mentoring other lawyers.
With the experience of senior roles at large firms with established systems and processes behind them, Peter and Michael wanted to create something fresh and unique, bringing a more personal attention to detail and closer working collaborations to their clients.
“Having those really personal touchpoints in a smaller environment really enhances client outcomes,” he adds.
While Peter has long specialised in Motor Vehicle Accident matters, in more recent years he’s developed a vibrant practice in Superannuation and Total and Permanent Disability (TPD) claims.
As testimony to his belief in personalisation, Peter says that the thing that makes him proudest about his work is the number of unsolicited referrals the firm continues to accrue.
“Word of mouth recommendations have always been important to us and we just keep getting more and more. Fighting for our clients really is a great responsibility and when our results are recognised through a recommendation, it’s very fulfilling.”
Peter has a love of travel in general but, given his strong interest in Ancient History, he particularly enjoys visiting countries like Greece and Italy. A staunch Brisbane Lions fan who proudly attended the 2024 Grand Final, Peter is also very involved in the northern suburbs’ basketball community with his son.
